A minimal level of experience is also required to become a headmaster. A minimum of 10 years’ continuous service on the post of secondary teacher in a state government school under Panchayati Raj institution and municipal body is required under this, as is a minimum of 12 years’ continuous service on the post of secondary teacher in a school with permanent affiliation from CBSE, ICSE, BSEB.

A minimum of eight years’ continuous service as a Higher Secondary teacher in a state government school under Panchayati Raj Institution and Municipal Body is required, as is a minimum of eight years’ continuous service as a Higher Secondary teacher in a school with permanent affiliation with CBSE, ICSE, or BSEB. BPSC Headmaster Exam Pattern 2022

There will be a written test exclusively for the Principal. There will be a total of 150 questions to be answered. There will be 100 questions in General Studies and 50 questions in the BEd course. The test will be administered using an OMR sheet. Each question is worth one mark, while incorrect answers are worth 0.25 points. If the question is left unanswered, no points will be granted. The examination will last two hours.

The written test retained 40% of general category applicants, 36.5 percent of backward class candidates, 34% of severely backward class candidates, and 32% of SC-ST, women, and disabled candidates.
