Nexon Facelift Price, Safety Ratings: The Nexon Compact SUV from Tata Motors has just received its second significant redesign. The updated Nexon and Nexon EV will debut on September 14, and preorders will begin on September 4. The midlife refresh will let the automaker offer new trim levels and colours for the under-four-meter SUV. The Nexon’s interior will also get a facelift, with new themes available depending on trim level and paint colour.

Nexon Facelift interior features

The Nexon’s updated cabin mimics the design of the Curvv concept very closely, down to the new touchscreen interface and two-spoke steering wheel. The dashboard has fewer physical buttons, and the air conditioning vents are thinner and more angular. The centre console features two toggles flanking a touchscreen interface regarding climate control. Leather accents and a carbon fibre-like finish adorn the dashboard as well.

Nexon Facelift Upgraded digital gauge cluster

The 2019 Nexon refresh features a more extensive touchscreen infotainment system and a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster. The newest user interface and cutting-edge visuals will show this upgraded cluster’s crucial driving parameters. The new display will also provide access to essential vehicle information.

Nexon Facelift All-LED lights

As previously noted, the Nexon’s front and rear headlights and taillights are all new LED units. Nexon Facelift Ventilated front seats with Air Purifier

The Nexon refresh has air conditioning in the front seats. This function is likewise often reserved for more costly automobiles. This keeps the seats cool by constantly blowing air on them. Cars can have their leatherette seats perforated so air can flow through them.

The business has also included a new air purification technology in the updated Nexon. By filtering out bacteria and germs from the air before it enters the cabin, this technology helps keep passengers healthy and comfortable.

Tata Nexon facelift powertrain and variants

There will be no changes to the Nexon’s 120hp, 170Nm, 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine, but buyers may now choose between a 5-speed manual, 6-speed manual, 6-speed automatic, and 7-speed dual-clutch automatic (with paddle shifters). The 1.5-litre diesel, which produces 115 horsepower and 260 Nm, is still available with a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission.
