Nexon Facelift Price, Safety Ratings: The Nexon Compact SUV from Tata Motors has just received its second significant redesign. The updated Nexon and Nexon EV will debut on September 14, and preorders will begin on September 4. There are some obvious design cues from the Curvv and Harrier EV concepts in the 2023 Nexon, such as the bigger touchscreen (now 10.25 inches) and the redesigned, two-spoke steering wheel.
The midlife refresh will let the automaker offer new trim levels and colours for the under-four-meter SUV. The Nexon’s interior will also get a facelift, with new themes available depending on trim level and paint colour.

Nexon Facelift Completely redesigned exterior
The Tata Nexon facelift is an intensive makeover for the car’s appearance. The car’s front and back ends have been completely redesigned. There are new split headlights and a bumper up front. There is also an entirely new bumper and set of taillights in the back. The business has also fitted the vehicle with brand-new 16-inch aero alloy wheels.
Nexon Facelift interior features
The Nexon’s updated cabin mimics the design of the Curvv concept very closely, down to the new touchscreen interface and two-spoke steering wheel. The dashboard has fewer physical buttons, and the air conditioning vents are thinner and more angular. The centre console features two toggles flanking a touchscreen interface regarding climate control. Leather accents and a carbon fibre-like finish adorn the dashboard as well.
Nexon Facelift Upgraded digital gauge cluster
The 2019 Nexon refresh features a more extensive touchscreen infotainment system and a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster. The newest user interface and cutting-edge visuals will show this upgraded cluster’s crucial driving parameters. The new display will also provide access to essential vehicle information.
Nexon Facelift New 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment with 9-Speaker JBL sound system
The new 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system is the first and most noticeable upgrade to the cabin. This unit features wireless connectivity for both Apple Carplay and Android Auto. It also has Tata Motors’ newest user interface and is far more significant than the previous screen.
The Nexon’s updated interior has a new 9-speaker JBL sound system. There are four tweeters and a subwoofer in this setup. The new model’s automatic transmission Fearless+S trim is the only one that can accommodate this technology.
Nexon Facelift All-LED lights
As previously noted, the Nexon’s front and rear headlights and taillights are all new LED units. The front bumper has been redesigned to accommodate the headlights in a vertical stack, while the rear lights have been given a distinctive Y form. The daytime running lights, main headlights, and reverse lights are all LEDs.
Nexon Facelift 360-degree rearview camera
The Nexon refresh now has a full-circle rearview camera. This option, typically found in more expensive vehicles, allows the driver to see around the SUV anytime. This innovation dramatically improves parking efficiency without causing any harm.
Nexon Facelift Ventilated front seats with Air Purifier
The Nexon refresh has air conditioning in the front seats. This function is likewise often reserved for more costly automobiles. This keeps the seats cool by constantly blowing air on them. Cars can have their leatherette seats perforated so air can flow through them.
The business has also included a new air purification technology in the updated Nexon. By filtering out bacteria and germs from the air before it enters the cabin, this technology helps keep passengers healthy and comfortable.
Tata Nexon facelift powertrain and variants
There will be no changes to the Nexon’s 120hp, 170Nm, 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine, but buyers may now choose between a 5-speed manual, 6-speed manual, 6-speed automatic, and 7-speed dual-clutch automatic (with paddle shifters). The 1.5-litre diesel, which produces 115 horsepower and 260 Nm, is still available with a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission.
Tata Nexon facelift Engine, performance, and specifications
The new Nexon features a 1.-2-litre turbo petrol and a 1.5-litre diesel engine under the hood. The latter is combined with a standard manual transmission and an automatic transmission, while the former may be had with a choice of five different transmissions.
Tata Nexon facelift Variants
Eleven Nexon iterations will be available after the update: Smart, Smart+, Smart+ S, Pure, Pure S, Creative, Creative+, Creative+ S, Fearless, Fearless+, and Fearless+ S.
