Karnataka PGCET Merit List 2023
Based on how well students do on the KCET exam, the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) will create individual merit lists for each program. 50% (or 45% for SC/ST/Category-I of Karnataka applicants) is the cutoff for inclusion on any merit list. Therefore, applicants must be aware of KEA’s tie-breaking requirements before sitting for the KCET examination, as KEA ranks exam results according to age in order to give older ones preference over younger ones.
Karnataka PGCET 2023 Counselling
Those who do well on the KCET exam will be invited to an admissions counseling session. Please bring your original papers to this session for review, as we will be reviewing them against your application and allocating seats based on the information you provide (including exam scores, preferences, and availability). Those who do not receive seats in a given round of counseling may reevaluate their preferences in the following rounds.
There will be a list of institutions, courses, and available seats made available by KEA following the results announcement. Candidates can utilize this data while filling out their choice form, where they can include up to ten institutions and courses of interest.
Karnataka PGCET 2023 Counseling Schedule and Procedure
Those who took part in the Karnataka PGCET 2023 and scored high enough to be considered for a counseling session must do so in accordance with KEA standards. Students will need to attend support centers in accordance with their rank and schedule (as posted on their official website) in order to register and have their documents verified (both the originals and photocopies). They should bring both the original and a copy of any required paperwork. Students must bring their completed course selection forms to their designated support centers.
There will be one round of seat allocation following the completion of registration and verification of documents. Remember that confirmed candidates have to show up to their institute by the due date, or they may lose their spots. Candidates who have had their applications accepted should then download their admission order and challan from the KEA website and bring these documents, together with appropriate identification, to the admissions office when they come to pay their fees.
Reports in the media suggest that the last day to sign up for therapy will be November 19 and that drop-in support centers would be available from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm on that day. Candidates should mark their calendars with these dates and be prepared to cancel other plans if something comes up that requires them to attend counseling. You may check your admission status and view your final college assignment by clicking the link below once the counseling process is complete. Exam takers will soon be able to see the final answer key online. This will allow them to gauge how well they did on the day of the exam.
