Vignesh Shivan Career
Film producer Gemini Film Circuit and his boyhood buddy Silambarasan collaborated with Vignesh Shivan and Dharan on Podaa Podi after he developed a short film and had Dharan write the soundtrack for it (2012). For over four years, the film was in the works until ultimately released in October 2012 to mixed receptions. As a film lyricist, music video director, and actor in Velaiyilla Pattathari, he kept up his involvement in the film industry (2014).
