JoSAA Allotment Round 1 Result 2022: Candidates Seats Options
As soon as the JoSAA Allotment Round 1 Result 2022 is released, applicants can choose between three actions: Freeze, Float, or Slide. To move on in the application process, candidates must select one of the three alternatives below. So, let me explain what each of these alternatives means.
If candidates no longer want to participate in counselling, they can select the freeze option. A freeze is a binding commitment to accept the assigned seat, and acceptance of the freeze makes the candidate’s seat assignment official.
Candidates should select the float option only if they are certain they want to enrol in the programme for which they have been granted a seat but would also like the flexibility to switch to their top-choice programme should they be admitted to it during a later round of JoSAA Counseling. With float, pupils always have the option of attending a different school.
To accept the given seat and yet be open to accepting admission to a higher-preferred academic programme at the “same institute” in future rounds of JoSAA Counselling, an applicant may select the “Slide” option. Such applicants will still be evaluated for further stages of the counselling process.
If a candidate doesn’t obtain a seat in this round, they should know they still have a chance in the next round. A candidate’s best bet for keeping up with the latest information is regularly checking the website.
Seat Acceptance Fee
Candidates who accept seats must check in at the designated reporting centre for document verification on the stipulated day and time. Those who have been offered a spot but cannot make it to the scheduled interview or acceptance ceremony will be disqualified. If you need your papers verified, you’ll need to bring the originals.
|SC, ST, GEN-PwD, GENEWS-PwD, OBC-NCL-PwD, SC-PwD or ST-PwD||Rs. 15000|
