IPL Retention Player List 2023:Even though the Indian Premier League 2023 doesn’t start until December, preparations are already on for the IPL mini-auction on December 23 in Kochi. All 10 teams have elected to dismiss players as part of their annual roster refresh, with the Mumbai Indians dumping 12 cricketers. The new, improved teams will begin training next month. - The RTM (Right to Match) Card allows the team to re-sign a player at a reduced price if they can outbid the competition to add to their team.
- After the auction, teams can select 25 players, with 8 being international players and a minimum of 18.
- Before the final list of retained and released players is provided to the IPL governing Council, teams in the league are allowed to trade players with one another during the trade window of the IPL.
