The second installment of the criminal drama Drishyam is scheduled for release in 2022. Abhishek Pathak helmed this feature film. It was first released in 2021 in Malayalam under the same title. This is the continuation of the Drishyam movie from 2015. Bhushan Kumar, Kumar Mangat Pathak, Abhishek Pathak, and Krishan Kumar are the film’s financiers. Ajay Devgn, Tabu, and Shriya Saran all star in this film, with Devgn reprising his role as Vijay Salgaonkar from the previous installment. A pivotal role was just cast for Akshaye Khanna. In 2022, on November 18, the film will open in theatres worldwide.

Production on the film began on February 17, 2022, and wrapped on June 21, 2022, with much of the action taking place in and around Mumbai, Goa, and Hyderabad.

The original plot of the 2012 film Drishyam will be preserved in the next Hindi version, which will be set six years later (1st part). Fear of law enforcement, though, has returned to reign over them as the inquiry resumes. The idea of this episode is his efforts to protect his loved ones from harm this time around.
