On December 30, 2022, the final tally of the Bihar Nagar Nikay Election will be made public (Friday). At 8 a.m., the second round of voting in the Bihar Municipal Election 2022 will be counted. As the government’s designated personnel have begun counting, the results have been updated in real-time online. The hopeful hopefuls were crossing their fingers. The final tally for Bihar’s 224 seats is in. From 7 a.m. until 5 p.m., voters cast their ballots. There will be a second round of voting on December 28, 2022. As soon as the vote tally is complete, the TV stations will broadcast the LIVE Result.

According to the official notification, the first round in Bihar includes 2501369 female and 2759000 male voters. Two electronic voting machines in the Sheikhpura neighbourhood reportedly ceased functioning throughout the voting process. Multiple polling places were set up to ensure that voting went off without a hitch.

The state arranged a special holiday to encourage people to go to the polls. Security personnel, including police and other government officials, were stationed to oversee the voting process. For the first time in history, each voter cast three ballots—one for the Chief Councillor, the Deputy Chief Councillor, and the Councillor for their ward. In the Bihar Municipal Corporation Electoral, contestants were not permitted to display any election symbols associated with any political parties.

Bihar Municipal Election Results: 11,127 candidates in affray in 2nd phase

The Bihar Nagar Palika Election was held, with candidates vying for seats on the Patna Municipal Corporation, 16 other municipal corporations, 2 nagar parishads, and 49 nagar panchayats.

A majority of Bihar’s 23 districts reported trouble-free voting. However, at a booth in the Patel Nagar district of Nalanda town, a fight broke out between supporters of two candidates. Several persons were hurt as the two factions pelted each other with stones.

The District Magistrate, Shashank Shubhankar, took over and calmed things down. The second round of voting for the Bihar MC election 2022 took place over 1,529 wards in 23 districts.

The second round of voting in the Bihar Nagar Nikay Election was 11,127 hopefuls, including 5,154 men and 5,973 women. There were 1,525 positions open for ward councillors, 68 for chief councillors, and 68 for deputy councillors, all contested by candidates.

Bihar Nagar Nigam Election second phase: 57% turnout recorded

The second and final phase of the December 28th election for Bihar’s urban local bodies was carried out without incident. However, outside of those pockets, reports of violence were extremely rare. A total of over 62 lakh people cast ballots in the second phase of the Bihar Municipal Election 2022, the State Election Commission said.
